About Us

Sam Summers is the Operations  Manager and company trainer for Gases101. Sam has 18 years of experience as a  Firefighter/Confined Space Rescue/Hazmat Tech-Spec and has been a gas detection technician and trainer since 1988. He is a former member of the Williamson County Regional Hazmat team (2001-2012).

Sam is an Adjunct Instructor (Gas detection and Hazmat) in the Texas A&M Fire School Teex program, a NFPA 1041 Fire Instructor, and a Pro Board Certified Hazmat Instructor. He is a Gas Detection Course Instructor for both The Continuing Challenge and Hotzone Hazmat conferences. He has taught an annual 16-hour basic gas detection course for Western Colorado’s Water and Waste water conference for the past 20 years.

Sam previously acted as President of Air Instrumentation Inc., which he sold to Safeware Inc. in 2008. He served as a Territory Manager for Safeware Inc. from 2008 until 2011.

Dave Jackson is a Radiation Safety Officer (RSO). a ChemPro Service Manager, and a ChemPro100i User Trainer. With 36 years of experience at IBM in hardware service and training, Dave is responsible for  service and support of the ChemPro Product Family. He conducts onsite ChemPro100i User Training, including operating and understanding how the ChemPro100i works as well as learning to solve gas detection problems using the ChemPro100i.

Dave is the only technician to do in-house services for repairs in the US and Canada for ChemPro products.
